Just so that you are all aware... please do not park in the courtyard inside the main gate as there are clampers who come round on a regular basis... they will stick a ticket on your window, then clamp you and then tow your car away... Not a good way to end your night out... there is plenty of parking in the surrounding roads eg Cable Street, Caroline Street and Pitsea Road but please check the signs... most of the streets are fine for parking during our opening hours.

Please arrive before 12pm on Fridays and Saturdays if possible if you require your make-up to be done.. if you have your own make up feel free to bring it along or we do have our own good quality make up which Hayley will be happy to apply to you whilst passing on a few hints and tips. There is a small charge of £10 for this service.

Anything goes... fetish, smart, wacky, OTT, etc but NO DIRTY OR RIPPED JEANS.. jeans are now allowed but must be smart and clean.. remember the management has the right to refuse admission and will not allow entry to anyone who has not made an effort.

As most of you know, we had our appeal hearing on Tuesday 12th May. We will not be getting a decision for up to seven weeks, but the overall feeling is that it went extremely well for us. I (Hayley) stood our ground on behalf of all our members and put across all the special circumstances and considerations that apply to Stunners and its members and how and why these differ to any ordinary club. The Planning Inspectorate definately seemed to understand these differences and we did feel that our voices were being heard, unlike in some of the previous meetings we have had in relation to this matter.

So fingers crossed everyone and watch this space.. I understand that there are rumours going round that we are shut but these are obviously not true.. we are still going strong at the moment and hopefully will be for some time to come.

I have been meaning to write a full report on the hearing which I will be happy to email to you, so again.. watch this space and I will let you know here when its done and you can email me requesting a copy of it.

Please note that any rumours stating that Stunners is shut are just that.. rumours... We are open for business as usual this weekend (Fri 1st August & Sat 2nd) and will not be closing any time in the forseeable future.

It is true that all the other clubs on the site have been shut down for at least 28 days although this order has not been placed on Stunners..

I will be placing a full report of the situation regarding the rumour on my report page just as soon as I have the time (haven't had internet at home this week) but in the meantime I would ask you to contact Phil or myself as to the actual facts.

We look forward to seeing you this weekend and hope that you will show your support on the site that is now quiet with just Stunners on it... just like the old days!
